Information We Collect

If you submit a pending beta application, we collect the email address and discovery source you provide, plus optional campaign attribution associated with the page visit.

How We Use Information

We use beta application information to review beta participation, separately approve access, send invitations and product updates, and provide related support. Submitting an application does not grant beta access automatically.

Service Providers

We use trusted service providers to protect the application form from abuse and to securely process and store beta applications.

Local App Data

Photo Memory processes your selected folders locally. Your original photos, search index, thumbnails, and personal information found in your photo library stay on your Mac and are not uploaded.

Photo Memory does not modify your original photos or change your folder structure.

Duplicate Review Handoff

Duplicate review happens inside the app. The app can show duplicate groups with thumbnails and links that open Finder at the original file location so you can inspect files yourself. Photo Memory does not delete, move, rename, trash, recover, or clean up original files.

Optional Error Reporting

Error reporting is optional. If it is enabled, the app shows a local preview of the report before submission. Error reports are intended for debugging and can include app version, local archive health counts, redacted error messages, source-code file and line references, and sanitized backtraces.

Error reports are designed to exclude PII and user content, including photos, thumbnails, full indexes, face embeddings, license keys, full file paths, and search text. Error report opt-in, opt-out, preview, and submit attempts are recorded in the local audit log.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only with service providers needed to operate beta applications or when required by law.

Your Choices

You may request deletion of your pending beta application by emailing hello@contact.photo-memory.app.
